How can we overcome the alienation between us and cooperate like compost? How can we change ourselves at the boundaries and become softer and more permeable? And how, please, can we look four people in the eye at once?
In times shaped by old and new fears, the performance collective Hysterisches Globusgefühl seeks new possibilities of encounter. In the format of a 1:1 performance, the audience is invited to become part of a current “we.”

To this end, “Die Vier in der Nähe (“The Four in the Vicinity”) become organic beings, disappear behind colorful crinolines, communicate in a fluttering way, and encounter each other crawling, dancing, groping and rustling. A joyful spectacle arises that for one spectator at a time tells of closeness and blows below the belt, of consolation and fear, of longing and hope.
