In July, “Das Kinderparlament” opens its doors once again - for all those who want to play theater together with other children and rethink and shape politics in a creative process. From July 4 to 20, we will be taking an imaginative look at the question: What could a society look like in which children have a say? Where people not only talk about them, but with them? We will play, improvise, negotiate, invent, make nonsense and in the end we will create a theater performance that will be shown publicly in the Bremen Parliament on July 19 and 20.

Together we will develop visions of a different way of living together and artistically explore topics such as peace, justice, ecology, diversity and power.

We look forward to welcoming children aged 8-12 with different backgrounds and perspectives - regardless of previous experience or language.

A cooperation between the Schwankhalle, the M_KH (BDP-Mädchen_kulturhaus) and the elementary school on Buntentorsteinweg.
Funded as part of the “tanz und theater machen stark” program of the Federal Association of Independent Performing Arts.
