Concert with coffee & cake
Every two month on Sunday afternoon, we invite visitors to coffee, cake and a concert in the foyer of the Schwankhalle: free of charge, playful and rich in calories. The concerts presented by a small lineup are from various genres and places—from singer-songwriter to pop-drag-grunge, from Dada post-industrial pop to No Wave, from noise to psychedelic.
In this edition Riccardo Castagnola ↗ invites the audience on a sonic journey. The Bremen-based composer, performer and multimedia artist takes various instruments and objects under his electroacoustic magnifying glass and combines existing compositions with free improvisation.
Riccardo Castagnola‘s engagement with music, sound and art is very diverse: electroacoustic and instrumental composition, live music for performance, dance and theater, free improvisation, sound mastery, sound design for film and multimedia interactive spatial installations to the analysis of electroacoustic music. His works are performed internationally.
