The »Schwankcore« usually rehearses in the foyer or in one of the halls of the Schwankhalle. The premises are »accessible« (pursuant to DIN 18040-01). This applies to the entrances to the foyer, the Alte and Neue Saal and the sanitary facilities. The rehearsals take place in German spoken language. Every Tuesday, the »Schwankcore« meets to sing in the Schwankhalle! On Tuesday, October 7, the choir will open its doors to new members. Anyone who enjoys singing is welcome to join, regardless of whether they have previous experience or not.

Until June 2025, the choir was conducted by Mara Hebel. After the summer break, the choir will start again in September 2025 with its new choir director Joan Augustin.
