›Polski Kombinowac‹ is THE name for Polish improvisation and the motto of the jazzahead Club Night! at the Schwankhalle. The Polish guitarist Raphael Roginski opens the evening with a solo, followed by the Warsaw-based quartet Łoskot (Polish for rumbling, banging), which aptly describes the brashness and energy of their music. The event is rounded off by the new duo of the Hamburg musician Felix Kubin and the Warsaw drummer Hubert Zemler with warm, extremely danceable rhythms and electronic sequences.
