After working for ten years as an independent producer, beat-maker and musician, the multi-talent Spoke releases the »Fighters« mixtape for the first time as a solo artist in February 2023. The tour on the occasion of the mixtape is limited to 7+1 shows—and one of them will take place at the Schwankhalle! Together with the MCs Alice Dee, Caxxianne, Leila A., and Sorah, Spoke serves beat creation ranging from grime to trap – at times sinister, at others extremely danceable. Approaching the Olympus beat by beat!

Spoke started as a DJ in Berlin in the late 2000s, while the first grime wave reached the techno capital from Great Britain. As a member of the Impulse Crew, Spoke organized parties at the Berlin club ://about blank and gained a lot of national and international experience on stage as the live DJ of the Berlin rapper Kaye, as well as a musician (synth/keys) with the Psychedelic Orchestra and Ostberlin Androgyn. Numerous productions as a beat-maker, co-producer and studio engineer with artists of the hip-hop scene followed, leading to a long list of vinyl EPs, mixtapes, singles, and videos with Finna, NASHI44, Alice Dee, and others.

As a non-binary artist, Spoke is passionately committed to supporting queer artists and networking queer producers and sound engineers to remedy the lack of female and gender-diverse models and colleagues.
